Pivotal Announces Cloud Foundry 1.2: Now with vCHS Support!
Fans of the increasingly popular PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) offering Pivotal Cloud Foundry, otherwise known as Pivotal CF, can now share their excitement with VMware vCloud Hybrid Service (vCHS) consumers with the launch of Pivotal CF 1.2 thanks to some great new feature additions.
Now with 100% More vCHS and vCD!
Previously untouched products are now rolling into the supported world for Cloud Foundry with the addition of VMware vCHS and VMware vCloud Director (vCD) as target platforms for Pivotal CF. This is a landmark move which signals a powerful step towards wider adoption with more options to create a platform-agnostic PaaS offering.
Given the recent news tease that vCHS is opening up to a pay-as-you-go option, this gives organizations a great way to test the waters with new ways to deploy and manage their application infrastructure.
Chock-a-Block with New Features
More than just vCHS and vCD was packaged with the 1.2 point release, and with 1.3 on the horizon, Pivotal CF users are surely in store for much more in the coming months from this platform.
