Zerto Virtual Replication Interviews with Josh Stenhouse at VMworld 2013
Zerto is an award-winning hypervisor-based replication solution for tier-1 applications running in VMware vSphere. Providing enterprise-class business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) for both enterprise virtualized infrastructures as well as the public cloud, Zerto has been quickly replacing array-based replication solutions.
At VMworld 2013 I interviewed Joshua Stenhouse of Zerto Replication in a series of three videos. In the first interview, Josh talks about what Zerto is and how it can help you. In the second interview, Josh shows us how Zerto works, from the perspective of a vSphere administrator. I was so fascinated with how Josh was demonstrating a full vSphere replication and failover in a small lab environment, I asked him to do a third video talking about what hardware he uses to demonstrate Zerto. In that final video, Josh tells us about how his vSphere replication lab was created with two Intel Nuc systems to demonstrate live Zerto replication and failover. His Intel Nuc systems have 16GB of RAM each, Dual core i3 CPUs, 256GB SSD, and vSphere ESXi 5.5.
